OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly.
  • Support the team in meal preparation and food handling as required.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in food handling practices.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and meal preparation techniques is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

Pay: $16.55-$19.86 per hour
