OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer service and grocery preparation associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our food items are packaged safely and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Package food items according to established guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Assist in the packaging and display of grocery items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
  • Know prices and operate the cash
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and phone etiquette is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
