Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional service and promote oral health education among patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Execute a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and preventive care.
  • Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active state dental license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems; experience with Dentrix is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CAD technology is advantageous but not required.
