Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to quality work and the ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including delivery tickets and logs.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed, utilizing heavy equipment when necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including basic automotive repairs, to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Drivers License).
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred, including forklifts for loading and unloading tasks.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling effective troubleshooting of vehicle issues.
  • Familiarity with freight handling processes and regulations is advantageous.
