Parts and Service Manager for Outdoor Power Equipment Store

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Parts and Service Manager for our Outdoor Power Equipment Division. Experience in Lawn and Garden is essential for this job. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the parts and service department, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of Small Engine/Outdoor Power Equipment parts and service. Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to upsell products effectively. The Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, Scheduling and Billing of the service Department. assisting customers, and supporting the dealerships overall sales objectives. Experience in Equipment sales are a definite asset

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the parts and service department, including inventory control order fulfillment and Service department scheduling.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their parts and service inquiries and needs.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to recommend appropriate parts , repair and maintenance.
• Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Handle sale transactions accurately and maintain financial records related to sales.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely scheduling of repairs. along with the necessary required parts
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal inventory.
• Ability to run the day to day operations of the store.

Experience

• Previous experience in Small Engine Parts and Service is Essential. "Stihl" Knowledge is desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to Outdoor Power repair is essential.
• Proven ability in customer service with a focus on building relationships with clients.
• Experience in sales, particularly upselling products and services, is highly desirable. Sales in new and used Equipment is an asset
• Proficiency in cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
