OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating Hooklift trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service needs.
  • Assist with the operation of forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed during loading and unloading processes.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving and waste transportation.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) is required.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with hooklift or similar vehicles.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair is beneficial for performing basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
