We are a growing Design, Engineering & Manufacturing company based in South Surrey with clients across North America. Our 30-person team manufactures everything from one-off custom products for the entertainment industry; to high volume products for a specific customer, to in-house products and systems, and sells them through a variety of distribution channels to multiple markets and customer segments.

OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Coordinator is a key part of the Sales & Marketing team and is responsible for executing and managing digital, traditional, and content marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement. Your role oversees digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, SEO, and paid advertising, while also supporting traditional marketing activities such as trade shows and print materials. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator collaborates with the sales team to develop compelling sales collateral and assists in lead generation efforts. Through market research and performance analysis, they provide insights to optimize marketing strategies and identify new growth opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Management - 15%

  • Manage and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to create and distribute all content (social media posts, websites, blogs, email campaigns and other social media channels), ensuring all content aligns with the brand voice and effectively engages target audiences across our communication channels
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment

Digital Marketing - 40%

  • Oversee social media strategy, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement, across company websites, email and social media channels
  • Regularly update and maintain the company websites to reflect current promotions, product launches, and company news, including SEO optimization to improve organic search visibility.
  • Implement, monitor and evaluate email marketing campaigns
  • Manage and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns
  • Manage online listings, directory submissions, and digital PR opportunities
  • Analyze website traffic and digital campaign performance
  • Monitor and respond to client communications received through social media channels

Traditional Marketing - 10%

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar, including tradeshows, email campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
  • Coordinate the development of marketing materials such as brochures, posters, print collateral and signage
  • Coordinate print advertising, direct mail campaigns, and trade publication placements
  • Assist in the planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, lunch & learns, etc.
  • Support public relations efforts, including drafting press releases and media outreach

Sales & Other Support - 30%

  • Oversee and assist in the development of custom and library materials to support the sales process, including proposals, proposal templates, RFP responses, Powerpoint presentations and other sales collateral, ensuring consistency in branding and overall messaging
  • Assist in lead generation activities, including CRM database management and prospect research

Market Analysis - 5%

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to help the company better understand the industries it plays in, its competitors, its customers and the markets perception of the companys brands and products.
  • Create, conduct, analyze and report the results of Customer Feedback surveys, and use them to refine marketing and campaign targeting
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess marketing effectiveness in driving lead generation and sales conversions
  • Identify new marketing opportunities and provide recommendations to the Director

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably in a B2B or industry-specific setting.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • Superlative verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media management
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media scheduling tools and CRM systems (currently using Zoho)
  • Experience with content creation and copywriting for various marketing channels
  • Advanced knowledge of graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) and website management tools (e.g. WordPress)
  • Ability to analyze and interpret marketing metrics to assess campaign performance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in manufacturing is an asset
  • Ability to multi-task, a fast learner, self-directed and great attention to detail are all important skills
